It was a bittersweet homecoming to the US after my wonderful adventures in Europe. I met so many wonderful people: generous and helpful neighbors, proud Marines, and really fun foreign service-types, too! (You know who you are!) I will miss my friends, old and new, but look forward to another trip next summer. I already have an invitation to Bratislava, and I hope to see Vienna, Budapest, maybe Prague, and of course, more of Zagreb!
Yet, in my heart, I think it was time to come home. Just last night my cat, Hobbes, decided he would sleep on my bed again, and I've been here almost two weeks! I really was so happy to see my family and now I need to catch up with friends (and work) here.
Just as I was starting to panic about a lack of upcoming projects, I got a call to work on a HUGE copy editing job for LearningMate Solutions, Inc. Thank you, Karen, for remembering me! I really do believe in Divine Intervention right about now!
In the next few month, I hope to work on the final installment of The List Trilogy, for Chrissy Anderson, as well as upcoming books by Darian Wilk and Paisley Ray. In between projects, I'll be in Kansas City for my high school reunion! I haven't been back there for eleven years, so it is time. I'm not going to tell you what reunion it is...you just have to guess!
I love to read, but I hate errors! Join me in the pursuit of literary perfection!
